Very Cool: Top NBA Draft Pick Shares the Entire Experience Using Google Glass
The future of the National Basketball Association showed up to the draft last night wearing the future of technology.
Indiana University’s Victor Oladipo arrived at NBA Draft in New York City on Thursday clad in Google Glass. He wore the high-tech specs during interviews throughout the day and on the bus with potential draftees, though he was asked to take them off during the ceremony.
This created a lot of social chatter around Oladipo, even before the first pick was even made. The NBA tweeted a picture (above) and ESPN tweeted a Vine video to capture the moment. Oladipo was eventually drafted second by the Orlando Magic.
