Draw Real Objects Using 3Doodler 3D Drawing Pen

by Stephen BrownJanuary 18, 2014

3Doodler Drawing Pen lets you create real 3D objects by drawing them in mid air.

3D printing has become a huge deal for businesses. Now consumers are  beginning to get a taste of this amazing new technology to create real objects thanks to  innovative products like the 3Doodler.

The 3Doodler 3D  printing pen is a unique device that uses a liquid ABS plastic gel  allowing  you to draw anything you like  in mid air or on a surface. As you doodle, the pen extrudes heated plastic, which quickly cools and solidifies into an actual thing that you can hold and touch. You’re really only limited by your imagination — and your drawing skills.

WobbleWorks on Tuesday announced the upcoming wider availability of its critically acclaimed $99 handheld 3D printer, which allows users to draw 3D objects in the air by hand. The 3Doodler, which debuted last year following a massive crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, will soon be available for purchase in Brookstone stores and the MoMA Store. It will also be available online from both retailers, as well as from ThinkGeek.com

Awesome gift for a creative person. $99.99
